Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Mid-Level Production Technician to join our dynamic production team in Provo, UT. In this hands-on role, you'll play a critical part in fabricating high-precision microstructure devices using our proprietary ablation tools and microfabrication processes. The ideal candidate thrives in a detail-oriented environment, upholds IPC workmanship standards, and contributes to process improvements through digital work instructions. Key Responsibilities
•	Perform mid-level assembly, fabrication, and testing of microfabricated components, ensuring compliance with IPC-A-610 and IPC J-STD-001 and IPC-6013 workmanship standards for electronics manufacturing specifically for Class 3 electronics.
•	Execute production tasks with extreme attention to detail, including handling delicate materials like semiconductors, metals, and flex cables, while maintaining zero-defect quality levels.
•	Develop, update, and maintain digital work instructions (MS365 and or specialized software) to standardize processes and train team members.
•	Operate and maintain specialized equipment such as laser ablation systems, cleanroom tools, and inspection metrology devices to produce prototypes and production runs.
•	Conduct quality inspections, troubleshoot production issues, and collaborate with engineers to optimize workflows for efficiency and precision.
•	Document production data, track yields, and support root-cause analysis for continuous improvement initiatives.
•	Adhere to cleanroom protocols, safety standards, and ISO-compliant procedures in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
 
Qualifications
•	Experience: 3-5 years in production technician or assembly roles within electronics, semiconductor, or microfabrication industries. Proven track record of meeting IPC workmanship standards in high-reliability environments.
•	Skills:
o	Expertise in precision assembly, soldering, and microscale handling with exceptional attention to detail and quality focus.
o	Proficiency in creating digital work instructions or technical documentation; experience with MS365, photoshop, etc. graphic tools is a plus.
o	Familiarity with cleanroom operations, ESD controls, and basic metrology tools (e.g., microscopes, CMMs).
o	Strong problem-solving abilities and a methodical approach to workmanship.
•	Education: Associate's degree or technical certification in Electronics, Manufacturing Technology, Mechatronics, or a related field; bachelor’s degree preferred.
•	Other: Ability to work in a cleanroom environment (requiring gowning and or PPE and adherence to protocols); flexibility for occasional overtime or shift work. U.S. citizenship or eligibility to work on government-funded projects is required due to ITAR compliance.
