Non planar arbitrary ablation
At Nielson Scientific LLC, we are developing a rapid direct-write nano-ablation process that can process any arbitrary shape on planar as well as non planar surfaces. We can process on thin films, semiconductors, and make designs with multiple layers. Our process uses a single high power beam to ablate structures, and we are developing a high speed version which uses hundreds of individually controllable beams for applications where large areas and high precision are needed.
Endless possibilities
With our direct write nano ablation process, we can make almost any microscale structure you can imagine. Some areas we have found some interest in is smart contact lenses and medical stents. We are actively creating prototypes in this field and we will be able to make these at extremely high resolution.
